Secondary Tertiary Pathways
Trades Academies, run in conjunction with WITT, focus on delivering trades and technology programs to secondary school students.
Trades Academies are a partnership between schools, tertiary institutions, industry training organisations and employers.
Students in years 11-13, who are interested in a career in the field of trades are able to attend Trades Academy one day per week and support their progress toward National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA)
Learning takes place in a practical and hands-on environment using industry standard equipment and technology relevant to your chosen career pathway. Students develop the foundation skills needed to progress to further study opportunities or move directly to employment.
